Join a Top Workplace A multi-year Star Tribune Top Workplace award winner, Dermatology Consultants recently celebrated 75 years in business. Founded in 1949, we are a thriving private dermatology practice with 23 providers across four East Metro clinic locations.
The Body Sculpting Technician primarily provides CoolSculpting body contouring procedures. This individual will provide other services as needed such as laser treatments or skin care services. The Body Sculpting Technician is responsible for developing an effective referral network with medical providers and outside networks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver CoolSculpting Elite treatments in a safe and welcoming environment with a focus on an excellent patient experience
Conduct full consultation and assessment and put together a successful and detailed treatment plan
Perform laser treatments including laser hair removal, laser genesis and others as needed
Actively market and promote the treatments, services and products of the practice
Provide skin care services as needed
Maintain inventory of products and supplies
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, staff and vendors
Coordinate and participate in special events including open houses
Follow all organizational, state and federal guidelines for safety, sanitation and sterilization to ensure a safe environment
Qualifications:
Prior training and experience with CoolSculpting
2 years of experience as an esthetician, laser technician, medical assistant or nurse. Experience working in a medical or clinic setting preferred.
CoolSculpting certification desired
Current Advanced Practice Esthetician license a plus
Sales experience
Demonstrated advanced skills and technical knowledge to safely provide esthetic and laser treatments
Excellent verbal communication skills
Self-motivated
Professional and mature demeanor and appearance with ability to relate and build relationships with clients, staff and providers
Technology skills required to create documents, employ the Electronic Health Record system, scheduling, and inventory systems.
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time, weekdays, day shift
