    Summary:


    Our client seeking a skilled and experienced GCP Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with a focus on Google Cloud technologies, and a proven track record of successfully delivering scalable and reliable solutions.


    Role:


    Our client seeking a skilled and experienced GCP Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with a focus on Google Cloud technologies, and a proven track record of successfully delivering scalable and reliable solutions.


    Responsibilities:
    Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure and applications on Google Cloud Platform.
    Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and architect cloud solutions that meet business needs.
    Implement and maintain best practices for security, scalability, and reliability on Google Cloud.
    Monitor the performance and cost of cloud resources and optimize as needed to ensure efficiency.
    Automate deployment, scaling, and management tasks using infrastructure-as-code tools and methodologies.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of services.
    Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud technologies and best practices and provide guidance to the team.


    Required:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    5+ years of experience working with

    Google Cloud Platform , including hands-on experience with services like

    Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

    Google Compute Engine

    Google Cloud Storage , etc.
    Strong understanding of

    cloud architecture

    principles and best practices.
    Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Bash, or Terraform.
    Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment.
    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


    Preferred:
    Google Cloud certification

    (e.g.,

    Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect

    Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer , etc.).
    Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
    Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
    Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
