    Travel Nurse RN Oncology

    Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology to provide medical/surgical chemotherapy-certified oncology care in Everett, Washington.

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a medical/surgical chemotherapy-certified oncology nurse (RN M/S-Onc), you will extend care to patients who are receiving chemotherapy treatment for cancer. This includes assessing their condition, starting intravenous (IV) lines, administering chemotherapy, changing dressings, monitoring vitals and documenting in patient charts. You'll also provide moral support and education to patients and families, promoting health, helping prevent disease and ensuring they have the tools to recover and prevent further health issues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans
    • Administer chemotherapy treatments and monitor patient response
    • Provide wound care and manage pain
    • Document patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
    • Offer emotional support and education to patients and families

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
    • A strong foundation in oncology nursing principles and practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
