    The Associate Director, Alz BrainTrust, will play a vital role in the development and implementation of the multi-year funded Alz BrainTrust.

    Responsibilities will include providing day to day leadership in managing the initiative across three sites in three different states including 1) project coordination, 2) logistical and 3) operational support.

    This position will interact considerably with the chapter teams, research consultants, select external partners and cross pillar teams for collaboration across the Association.

    The successful applicant will ideally have knowledge of community-based participatory research to work in partnership with the research consultants and community leaders.

    This individual will also contribute to the provision of education and technical support to all three sites, and will lead the planning and conduct of external events.

    The successful candidate will represent the Association in collaborations related to BrainTrust. This position reports to the senior director, dei engagement and the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer. The position is 100% remote with up to 25% travel.
    Responsibilities
    Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Manage the implementation of BrainTrust across three sites working closely with chapters and research consultants
    Provide technical and research assistance to the three sites as it relates to DEI community engagement
    Collaborate across pillars to develop communications and tools needed for monitoring and illustrating progress
    Manage logistics and communications associated with in-person and virtual events such as meetings, teleconferences and webinars.
    Present on behalf of the DEI team at national conferences, meetings and select partnerships
    Performs other duties as assigned
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in public health or related field required; master's degree preferred
    Minimum 5-7 years of progressive, professional experience in the field
    Multiple years of advancing health equity
    Experience leading programs from design to implementation and evaluation
    Experience building and cultivating partnerships in and with underserved communities
    Experience managing teams representing different community groups and perspectives to achieve a common goal
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Knowledge of community-based participatory research with experience in community engagement with underserved populations
    Ability to translate concepts into pragmatic actions that can be implemented by others
    Effective collaboration and communication skills (written and oral) are essential
    Track record of effective project management, including managing teams
    Detail oriented and highly organized with effective time management
    Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

    Full time based on 37.5 hours per week
    Position Grade: 508 Exempt (Estimated Annual Salary $70,000 - $80,000)
