    Job Overview

    This position will be responsible for supporting our sales force to enable greater performance through enhanced reporting, analysis, key performance indicator tracking, and follow up on critical items to ensure the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

    The Commercial Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Manager of Finance for the sensors IMS subvertical.
    Role & Responsibilities
    Commercial Finance Reporting design and distribution include:

    Report Daily Billings and Bookings
    Ensure various data warehouse sources are reporting consistent numbers
    Design meaningful report and dashboard for Sales, Standard Margin & AR for various audience SLT, Sales

    Analyze backlog evolution day to day and report to Sales & Supply Chain/Ops
    Business partnership with the IMS Sales team on bookings forecast, address process improvements, and forecast accuracy improvements.
    Finance liaison for SI&OP process.

    Engage in SI&OP discussion with sales, PM, demand teams and supply chain and provide value-added input from Commercial Finance perspective.

    Manage sales and standard margin review during month end close, lead gross to net sales analysis, closely follow up with financial shared services when needed to address issues.

    Perform sales and standard margin volume mix analysis for actual vs forecast.
    Assist in preparation of monthly financial reporting packages, quarterly forecasts, annual budget, strategic plan, and various ad hoc financial analysis for the TE Sensors management team (Dashboards, waterfalls, bridges, charts, graphs, etc.)
    Drive accounts receivable improvement via partnership with Finance Share Services, Customer Care and Sales. Drive KPI improvement of DSO reduction and past due AR reduction.
    Review/approve payment term requests, drive payment terms alignment to TE Standard
    Review/approve credit memo requests and closely follow up for potential R&O
    Review/approve order cancellation and pushout request
    Perform financial analysis by leveraging and developing financial models to provide insightful financial information that supports our internal customers to make business decisions
    Participate in ongoing process improvement and automation efforts and support in transitioning the TE Sensors Finance Function from transactional focused to a value-added Business Partner

    What your background should look like:

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or other analytical field. MBA is a plus

    5+ years of experience with financial analysis, reporting, sales trend analysis, and distilling key takeaways from a set of data.

    Good communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
    Deals well with ambiguity, demonstrates intellectual curiosity and ownership of tasks
    Proficiency in TE Data Warehouse tools, SAP, and JDA, Tableau, Power BI are a plus
    Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    COMPENSATION
    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $103,000 – 150,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.

    TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
