    Job Description


    Insight Global is seeking a customer-oriented Mainframe Operations Engineer to support a Data Center Operational Maintenance program for a federal customer.

    The client is in need of candidates that are open to occasional travel onsite to support the mainframes in Martinsburg, WV or Memphis, TN.

    Skills and Requirements

    Bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience (experience can be in lieu of education)

    Experience with mainframes (Unisys 2200/OS 2200, MASM, or IBM), storage management, and configuration management

    Knowledge of the planning and implementation practices of configuration management

    Knowledge of complex data center operations best practices

    Knowledge and experience with the configuration and operations of large disk and virtual tape storage (Dell EMC VMAX/PowerMax and DLm) - Experience with client consulting in a mission critical data center environment

    Experience implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) and Alternate Site Processing (ASP) procedures

    Experience managing a team of IT engineers null
