Staffing for all nursing personnel (CNA/CMA)Process applications for all positionsSchedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants/candidatesComplete new hire reference checks, license/certification verificationsReview staffing routinely and adjust based on censusConduct clinical portion of the new hire orientationConduct drug testing of all new hiresMaintain attendance records, excused/unexcused absencesSet up, track and log attendance for all State mandated In-services and In-services as required by Administrator and DONAnnual Proficiency Testing for Certified Nurse AidesMay Participate in assessment and evaluation of nursing staffMaintain copies and track nurse and nurse aide licensesTrack, audit and administer TB tests, Flu Shots, etc.

for Residents and EmployeesJob RequirementsCurrent, valid licensure as an CMA and CNA is required.
Previous experience in a nursing home or home health setting providing care to geriatric-age patientsPrevious scheduling experience required; KRONOS experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills neededStrong written and verbal skills required
