Description:

FEDITC supports the Government Network Operations Center at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The GNOC serves as the primary reporting office for all Senior Leader operational and maintenance issues, to include all executive communication outages, degradations, and deficiencies.

Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Network Specialist to monitor, analyze, detect, and respond to incidents and activities identified by the GNOC. This position is mission essential.

Responsibilities:

• Gather trend analysis data on systems, and provide input for resource planning
• Coordinate network requirements with users and sites
• Perform system administration tasks on Microsoft active directory networks
• Provide real-time usable statistics to aid with troubleshooting
• Provide all maintenance and documentation of ground equipment and systems on a scheduled and unscheduled basis

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

• Experience with CISCO Voice and Security or related expertise or equivalent experience.

Education:

• BA/BS + 2 years of experience

Certifications:

• IAT II certification required
• Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) certification.

Clearance:

• A Top-Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required to be considered for the position.
