    Manager Environmental, Health and Safety

    We are looking for a motivated and reliable Manager Environmental, Health and Safety to join our team at Blommer Chocolate Company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing safety policies following best practices to control and mitigate hazards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establishes safety policies following best practices to control and mitigate hazards.
    • Analyze operational functions developing update train policies SOP's JHA procedures that define proper safety procedures,
    • Maintain metrics trend data evaluate address areas continued safety improvement perform report monitor risk assessment analysis all job functions investigate accidents near misses develop implement correction action(s) eliminate track data conduct root cause investigates incidents working affected parties management team assess equipment installations modifications ensure meeting all safety requirements OSHA standards proper permitting manage worker compensation process prepare oversee claims reporting management timely resolution expedient RTW injured employee establish coordinates internal teams promote respond safety environmental issues lead committee first responder teams raise awareness involvement throughout areas departments assist security surveys coordinate conduct inspections issue hot work permits confined space permits as directed conducts training inform teach personal ensuring compliance with legal moral obligations conducts orientation new hires contractors site ensures company complies Occupational Health Safety Act establishes annual training per CAL OSHA other legal maintaining records support ongoing communication employees workplace hazards importance comply manages programs engage recognizes behaviors operates within core values respect care others manages River Watch program CUPA stay regulations operate Blommer core values respect care others.
