    • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws.

    • Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

    • Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near borders.

    Qualifications include one year general work experience demonstrating decision-making skills,
    maintaining composure under stress,
    demonstrating ability through learning regulations and techniques via classroom training/or on-job instruction;
    or Bachelor's degree
    either education substitution-or combination-of general work experience AND successfully completed college education;</span>
