As a CNC Machinist III, specializing in lathe, mill, and multi-axis tools, you will play a pivotal role in our high precision environment.

Working closely with our team of engineers and production staff, you will contribute to the production of precision components that meet our exacting standards.

Requirements Operate all machine tools with care so that no damage is done to the machinesAdjust cutter comp and work offsets on machine tools to get the desired results Ensure quality of the work by monitoring the process and perform first article inspection on all components when required or check machined features against print when first article is not requiredMaintains daily machine maintenance (i.e. coolant concentration, lube oil)Use inspection tools (i.e. gage blocks, pins, calipers, micrometers to measure) Preforms rough and power sanding and deburring operationsOperate inspection equipment sanding, lapping and polishing machinesOperate Lathes with sub spindles and/or live tools and adjusts cutter comp and work offsets to get desired resultsSetup and operate Wire EDM and EDM drillUtilize the Omax Water Jet to produce production and prototype partsOperate a CNC Mill with either a 4th axis indexer and/or 5th axis tableProgram 3 axis mills and EDMs using Mastercam and selecting the correct cutting tools, speeds and feeds as necessarySet up CNC lathes with sub spindles and/or live toolingSet up CNC mill with a 4th axis indexer and/or 5th axis tableCreate setup sheets and first article inspection reportsSuccessfully collaborate with engineering on product designSuccessfully machine process fixturesOther duties as assigned Salary Description $26-$35/hr, based on experience and skill
