About the Role:
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all production operations. You'll develop strategies, ensure quality, and lead a team to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage production schedules that meet company goals while optimizing resource utilization.
Ensure strict adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP's (Standard Operation Procedures) and safety protocols, fostering a culture of quality throughout the production process.
Work closely with departments like Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance and Human Resources to ensure seamless operation and problem-solving across the board.
Oversee inventory management, cost control measures, and participate in Bill of Materials (BOM) review and creation.Lead and develop a team of production personnel, providing training, mentorship, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures, implementing changes to optimize efficiency and quality.
Reviews production goals with team.
Reviews assignments and production goals of production employees with direct reports.
Conducts time studies of producing new products.
Communicates with subcontractors for production needs.
Conducts annual employee evaluations.
Assists with making order changes in the event of a schedule change as needed.
Reviews financial budgets related to the production department.
Manages temporary employee timecards.

3+ years of experience in production management.
Strong understanding of GMP and quality control principles.
Proven track record of implementing and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve production goals.
Adept at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing deadlines in fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong computer skills.
