    Responsibilities:
    Job Summary: Supervises the Loss Prevention Specialist (LPS) team in the Region.
    What is the work? (other duties may be assigned)- Manages assigned Loss Prevention Specialist team- Assists in the recruiting, hiring, and training of all Loss Prevention Specialists in the Region- Coaches, motivate and develops Loss Prevention Specialist team- Maintains relationships with local law enforcement agencies, prosecuting attorneys and court officers, to ensure proper dissemination of changes to local laws, policies, and criminal situations or trends- Effectively networks to investigate and address Organized Retail Crime- Conducts periodic assessments of LPS performance and identifies areas of improvement with recommended actions- Ensures proper report writing, record keeping, and retention of evidence- Partners with LP Director, ALPM's, and Store Leadership regarding shrinkage, staffing, and investigations- Manages scheduling and travel/expenses for the LPS teamPreferred Education and Experience- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- 4+ years of experience in Loss PreventionPreferred Key Competencies- Working knowledge and expertise in Loss Prevention- Proficiency in surveillance and security systems- Advanced interviewing skills- Advanced verbal / written communication and presentation skills- Advanced negotiating and influencing skills- Advanced skills in MS Office- Advanced interviewing skills- Strong analytical and project management skills- Strong organization and time management skills- Personal leadership skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects / tasks; attention to detail- Ability to work complex issues with senior managementPhysical and Other Requirements- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays- Lift 20 lbs or more on an occasional basis- Work extended hours; sit for extended periods- Work rotating schedules- Use arms / hands in repetitive motion during the day11-2015LPSEC3232#J-18808-Ljbffr
