    Description

    We are currently seeking a committed, full-time Project Manager to join our collaborative team and assist on projects throughout Iowa. Responsible for the profitable execution of assigned projects, the Project Manager works with Denovo's Operations Team, Account Executive and design teams as needed to provide sales support activities. Provide input on strategy, vendor / partner's selection, scope enhancements, value engineering, risk assessment etc. Projects range in size from $5M to $50M+ and are typically in the municipal, K-12 and commercial markets.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ideal candidate will be self-disciplined and motivated with attention to detail. Able to execute projects of high complexity with multiple prime contractors and subcontractors.
    • Plan and manage project budgets while accurately estimating costs to ensure financial efficiency throughout each project's lifecycle.
    • Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal supply from preferred vendors.
    • Prepare comprehensive internal and external reports to communicate project status.
    • Oversee contract management to ensure all contractual obligations are met and aligned with intended project goals.
    • Determine and prepare project schedules with an understanding of the construction process.
    • Comprehend and communicate high quality construction standards while ensuring safety standards are actively being implemented.
    • Goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coaches employees to meet high performance standards.
    • Proactively ask questions, listen, receive and give verbal/written instructions and directions in a professional manner.
    • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.

    APPROPRIATE SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Versatile when dealing with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines.
    • Excellent budgeting & cost containment skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.
    • Ability to perform well under tight timelines & excellent decision-making quality under pressure is desired.
    • Basic understanding of ISO 9000 design requirements.
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook. Experience with ProCore, Bluebeam and MS Project a plus.
    • Leadership skills, experience in team and project leadership.
    • Ability to travel (25%). Occasional overnight travel may be required.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
    • At least five (5) years of commercial construction experience is desired, including project management or owner's rep experience.
