    Summary You will serve as an Aircraft Ordnance Systems Mechanic Training Leader in the Production Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST
    This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service Duties


    • You will conduct initial training to trainees on a variety of ordnance systems such as missile and special weapons launching devices, decoys, egress and jettison systems, and rocket launching equipment.
    • You will conduct task analysis to determine training requirements, prepare course outlines, construct lesson plans and administer informal examinations.
    • You will instruct in proper trade theory, techniques and practices, use of power tools, common hand tools, materials, measuring devices, precision instruments, etc.
    • You will explain safety procedures to be followed when setting up machinery and equipment, when using power tools and general shop safety requirements.
    • You will obtain classroom materials such as textbooks, directives, manuals, films, cut-away models, mock-up of test bench and other training materials to be used during training sessions
