- Act as the primary liaison between the healthcare organization and construction teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare administrators, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project milestones.
- Maintain open communication channels to address client needs, concerns, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with healthcare regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to verify compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast financial projections.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising project quality.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential project challenges.
- Proactively mitigate risks related to scheduling, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance with health and safety regulations on project sites.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect the well-being of all project stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on healthcare facilities and at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale healthcare construction projects as an owner's representative.
- Experience with design-assist, design-build, or progressive design-build patient tower projects valued over $1B
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and building codes.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, procurement, preconstruction, design management, contract management, and project controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- AIA, CCM, or PE certification
- Flexible work environment with typical work schedule from 8:00a – 5:00p.
- Ability to travel to various construction sites within the San Diego area.
- Ability to walk, stand, and navigate uneven terrain for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and access tight spaces as required.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to safely navigate construction sites and identify potential hazards.
- Tolerance for working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.

Job Summary
As a Senior Project Manager specializing in owner's representation for large healthcare projects in San Diego, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects on behalf of our healthcare clients. This position requires extensive experience in healthcare facility construction, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
