7:00PM - 7:00AM 2/2/3 Rotation$21.20/hour + $2/hr shift differential
The Quality Control Coordinator assists with the day-to-day operations of the Quality Assurance Team. The coordinator will perform lab equipment maintenance and calibration and/or verify its completion. They will be a resource for production on food safety and quality related issues.
Coordinators are expected to train QC techs when needed as well as fill in as a QC tech when necessary.
They will assist QC techs and production with non-conforming product/holds, send hold notification emails, gather samples and perform back testing for holds and disposition holds as directed.
Additional responsibilities include performing PPR verifications, following procedures to release product from positive release, when necessary, follow procedures to release film and/or ingredients from receiving hold, when necessary, perform gluten testing, assist with monitoring QC performance/disciplinary issues, perform allergen validations on a quarterly basis and participate in special projects/teams as assigned.
Knowledge in food production/processing and/or quality control.Language Skills - Must be able to read, understand and effectively communicate to team members in their immediate area.
Computer Skills - Must have basic computer skills required to run production. Verifications on computer will be done routinely throughout the day.
Time Management - Must be able to follow standard work instructions

Must be available for pre-shift meetings when applicable and able to work weekends, holidays and overtime when needed.
