As the Pricing Lead at Anthropic, youll own our overall pricing strategy across products and services in a fascinating and rapidly growing frontier market.

Youll leverage your technical analysis and informed commercial acumen to drive and align leaders across functions on a strategic pricing vision, and then execute on it.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for and experience in driving pricing strategies across varying product lines and particularly in new technology spaces.

By aligning and executing on novel strategies, youll help Anthropic champion the adoption of the most advanced and safest AI products in the market thereby advancing Anthropics core mission.

Create and champion our pricing strategy, including gathering competitive data, initial cost estimates, and model performance metricsCollaborate with and align on pricing strategy with cross-functional leaders across product, engineering, finance, go-to-market, research, and the executive teamBuild the actionable playbooks and guardrails for the Sales team to action our pricing strategy quickly and flexibly for our customersWork with finance, data science, engineering and research to drive a deep, clear understanding of our cost and margin driversDrive strategy and execution of your strategiesYou may be a good fit if you have:5+ years of experience in a pricing strategy role, on top of relevant work in finance, consulting and/or technologyFamiliarity setting pricing strategies in an API or Cloud environment, and ideally with consumer applications as wellSuccess and an ability to thrive working in a fast paced, high-ambiguity startup environmentA passion for driving work streams from concept to execution and outcomesExcellent communication skills and the ability to present confidently and build connections across C-level executives and cross functional teamsA passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems.
