Job DescriptionClient Relationship Management- Underwriting Analyst
A services company, specializing in providing companies with administration services for their insured international employee benefits ("IEB"), is seeking to recruit a Client Relationship Management- Underwriting Analyst
Reporting to the VP, Client Relationship Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of existing accounts and providing Technical support
Primary Responsibilities:
Working with Client Relationship Manager (CRM) and Technical Services (TS) team to support the client account management.
Help create and nurture relationship along with the assigned CRM with clients' Risk Management and HR/Benefits team
Responsible for managing weekly client calls and issue minutes of all calls/meetings.
Support CRM to actively manage assigned accounts and address client needs and queries effectively within the set turnaround time and ensure compliance with all SLA/KPI's
Maintain and ensure accuracy of client trackers including upcoming renewals, migration, country issues etc...
Help to proactively resolve services issues where needed
Work on various presentations and various client reporting requests and ensure timely delivery
Responsible for preparing underwriting models for renewals new business and and presenting underwriting results to the CRM for all line of business, Medical, Life, Disability and Accident that includes:
Calculating and suggesting premium levels with respect to the risk under assessment
Modelling the forecast cost of benefit changes for clients' local business units
Mid-year underwriting and budgeting exercises for the clients
Produce other ad hoc financial reports as required for the clients
Other responsibilities and duties as directed from time to time by CRM and/or the Management Team
Candidates should possess the following:
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant insurance experience, or Bachelor's degree required with preferably business or actuarial related qualification.
Understanding of underwriting and risk management especially in employee benefits Insurance
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and senior management and work under minimal supervision whilst meeting deadlines
Experience in analytics and interpreting written material and quantitative data to draw conclusions
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications especially Excel,
Must be a team player
Bachelor's degree required with preferably business or actuarial related qualification.
