    Program Offering Overview:
    For full-time nurses: up to $437.50 per month, with a lifetime maximum program benefit of $15,750
    For part-time nurses: up to $218.75 per month, with a lifetime maximum program benefit of $7,500

    Responsibilities:

    Provides direct nursing care following established policies and procedures of the healthcare organization.
    Implements and monitors patient care plans.
    Records and communicates patient condition as necessary.
    Evaluates, updates, and revises care plans to ensure expected outcomes.
    Acts as the primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care.
    Administers medications and treatments according to approved nursing protocols.
    Executes physician and nursing orders.
    Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs.
    Educates patients and their families, addressing cultural considerations and special concerns.
    Delivers appropriate teaching materials.
    Validates patient and family comprehension of education provided.
    Maintains professional growth through continuous education and clinical studies.
    Performs other assigned duties as required.

    Requirements:
    Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
    BSN preferred.

    Hold current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
    Present Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire.
    If in a Critical Care environment, possession of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire or within the first year of employment, as applicable to the department.

    Additional certifications may be required based on the specific area of practice.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum of one year of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting, or relevant healthcare experience as necessary for the specific care setting.
    Possess physical capabilities including lifting patients, manual dexterity, and acute coordination.
    Ability to work extended periods in a standing or walking position.
    Visual and auditory acuity within normal ranges.
    Aptitude to work in high-stress environments with irregular hours.
    Potential exposure to contagious diseases and bodily fluids.

    Employ appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as outlined by standard precautions.
