    Job Title: Emergency Medical Professional - Patient Care Specialist

    About the Role:

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled Emergency Medical Professional to join our team at Acadian Ambulance Service. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective pre-hospital advanced and basic life support care to patients in need.

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify medical conditions and develop effective treatment plans
    Administer necessary medical interventions, including CPR and other life-saving measures
    Safely transport patients to medical facilities while maintaining optimal patient care standards
    Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for emergency responses
    Document all patient interactions and treatment procedures for accurate record-keeping and compliance with protocols

    Requirements:

    A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Advanced EMT or equivalent certification
    Current CPR certification and valid state driver's license
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
    Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and patients in various environmental conditions
    Physical stamina to respond quickly to emergency calls and maintain peak physical performance during long shifts

    Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
