The people who love this job and do well in this position:

    Are Detail-Oriented

    • Our Quality Team checks hundreds of different part numbers and
thousands of dimensions monthly. For our Customers, even the smallest details matter.

We've built systems and standards to keep things solidly in place and they will require

disciplined execution by you and our Team to continue our strong Quality performance for

our Customers. Have Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills

    • Ours is a people and
relationship business. While everyone wants every part to be good, that's not the reality

we live in, as Quality in manufacturing is about managing variation. Your ability to have

important (and sometimes difficult) conversations with Customers, Vendors and internal

Teammates about the status of projects is a big part of the Quality Manager role. You'll

get help from our Engineering Team as you balance the practical application and

functionality of parts with the drawing requirements so we can provide important feedback

to all concerned parties. Maintaining emotional control and de-escalating drama in

challenging situations, especially with Customers, has helped grow trust and also grow our

    business.

    Practice Effective Time Management

    • A lot falls on the plate of our Quality Manager
and a significant portion of it is unscheduled based on the shop floor and our Customer

needs. Establishing clear plans for you and the Quality Team will be important along with

the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Executing to the plan while being flexible to adjust

to emerging new priorities will help our Team provide timely action and communication for
