    Description

    Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

    A healthcare professional responsible for monitoring and treating patients with respiratory conditions.

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as respiratory therapy or pulmonary science required.
    • CPR certification, state license to practice as a registered respiratory therapist highly desired but not necessary given the nature of this position.

    The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, be able to work well under pressure and have excellent communication skills. Responsibility includes:



    • Assessing patient needs through observation and evaluation of medical history;

    • Treating patients using various techniques such as ventilation support;

    • Maintaining equipment used during treatment sessions;

    • Liaising with other healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses and allied health staff;]
