Under the direction of an Anesthesiologist assembles necessary supplies and equipment administers intravenous spinal and other anesthetics prior to surgical or other medical procedures monitors patient reactions vital signs during after anesthesia takes remedial action when warranted submits postoperative report on patients condition maintains records of anesthetics administered.
