Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a top contributor to the team, working within an enterprise environment within the financial space. You will have the opportunity to coach other engineers to aid in their technical progression as well as exploring new technologies to keep progressing yourself. A background in SaaS and low-code environments would be a big plus.

We are looking for someone with strength in implementations and administration with Jira and/or Confluence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in planning, executing, and maintaining enterprise technology platforms.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the Technology Delivery process.
• Coach team members on platform development best practices.
• Implement Atlassian plugins and integrate with enterprise software.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for system development, security, and performance.
• Support Knowledge Management program strategy and technical implementation.
• Own solution implementation and ensure quality and compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and propose process/tool changes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years of Atlassian product implementation experience (Jira/Confluence)
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in Financial Services or regulated environments preferred.
• Knowledge of SharePoint, SQL, Python, PowerShell a plus.
• Familiarity with SDLC pipeline tools like Git, Jenkins, SonarQube preferred.

This is a hybrid role based in Chicago or Dallas.
