- Experimental work will be the core job function, with 80% of time spent leading from the bench
- Be highly organized and practice robust experimental techniques including diligent recording of experiments in electronic lab notebooks
- Work independently to develop cell-based assays to evaluate the effects of target modulation on immune-relevant pathways
- Communicate effectively in a variety of written and oral formats
- Help establish a positive site culture and provide informal mentorship to colleagues
- B.S degree in immunology, cell biology, or related fields is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- For a B.S. degree, five years of additional laboratory experience is required. For M.S. degree holders, two-three years of additional laboratory experience is required.
- Experience in sophisticated organizations like research institutes or biopharmaceutical companies is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cell culture (primary cells and cell lines) and cellular and molecular biology techniques, including but not limited to ELISA, RT-qPCR, immunoblotting, and flow cytometry, is required.
- The ability to analyze and interpret published data and apply it to develop and optimize cellular and biochemical assays is required.
- The ability to interpret omics datasets and/or familiarity with R is preferred.
- Organized, meticulous, and able to work both independently and in team settings is required.
- A passion for developing new therapies for inflammatory disease is required.
- This position will be in Cambridge, MA, and may require up to 10% travel.
