    Job Description:
    • The Senior Program Manager (MANP3) will support the management of a US Navy Watercraft program in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division Detachment Norfolk, Combatant Craft Division (NSWCCDDN), Code 83.
    • The PM will support the management of a diversified group of engineers, naval architects and logisticians in the execution of watercraft research and development, science and technology development, planning, acquisition engineering, in-service engineering, testing and evaluation and life cycle management.
    • The candidate should have demonstrated experience in scheduling and motoring the execution of work to meet critical delivery schedules. Some tasking will be accomplished on watercraft in an operational readiness status. Therefore, both the scheduling of work, monitoring the work and the completion of work on schedule are critical.
    • The candidate should have demonstrated capabilities in the analysis, de-conflicting, documentation and validation of requirements and experience in providing requirements traceability in various forms such as a traceability matrix.
    • The candidate should have experience in new acquisition programs in areas such as information management, configuration management and be able to report results.
    • The candidate should have an understanding or experience in processes such as Risk management, Configuration management, decision analysis and technical data management.
    • The salary pay range for this position is $100,000-$140,000.
    Required Skills and Experiences:
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • An active secret security clearance.
    Required Experience:

    Fifteen (15) years of experience planning, organizing, directing, and controlling programs to meet objectives, to include experience working with US Government organizations and

    Five (5) years of experience as a manager of a team of skilled professional, technical, and support personnel.

    Desired Experience:
    • Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role supporting Navy program offices.
    Degree Requirements:

    Required Education:
    • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
    Desired Education:
    • Master's degree from an accredited institution in an engineering or managerial field.
    • Profession Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
