Need 5–10+ years in backend development with strong experience in distributed systems and microservices architecture.About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with hands-on experience working in environments with 20+ microservices and building systems that scale.
You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to design scalable, resilient, and high-performance services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using microservices architecture
Work in an ecosystem of 20+ microservices and ensure seamless inter-service communication
Improve system scalability, reliability, and performance
Architect distributed systems that handle high traffic and large data volumes
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies
Optimize database queries and system performance
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and deployment
Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in backend development (Java / Go / / Python – specify stack)
Hands-on experience working with 20+ microservices in production environments
Deep understanding of:
RESTful APIs
Event-driven architecture
Distributed systems design
Service discovery and API gateways
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL)
Experience implementing caching strategies (Redis/Memcached)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and system design skills
Good to Have
Experience scaling systems to millions of users
Cloud experience (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Experience with high-availability and fault-tolerant systems
Experience with performance testing and load testing
Domain experience in fintech / e-commerce / SaaS (optional)
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
