    City Experiences is seeking a Data Analyst for our Business Operations in Chicago.

    The successful staff accountant assists in the general ledger function for the City Cruises US division, helps to ensure strong cash controls through reconciling balance sheet accounts and minimizes business costs by making timely tax filings and payments.

    The Data Analyst will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody Hornblower's RESPECT SERVICE SYSTEM.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    Support in implementation of software analytic and financial automation systems
    Document financial transactions, update financials database and ledgers
    Assist with preparation of financial and cash flow forecasting models
    Ensure cash, AR and deferred revenue reconciliations are completed timely and accurately
    Develop appropriate methods to analyze cost operations and organize relevant operation information
    Perform monthly capital expenditure amortization and reconciliation
    Assist manager with ad hoc job requests and analysis as needed
    Additional job duties as assigned

    Requirements & Qualifications:
    Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal direction
    Work in an organized manner with high attention to detail
    Consistently meet tight deadlines
    Communicate effectively in oral and written form
    Manage multiple priorities/tasks
    Establish and maintain effective working relationships
    Work with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word & Excel)
    Experience with Great Plains is a plus
