    Inside Technical Representative
    Contract Duration 6 Months


    General Summary:


    Under general supervision, this mid-level Inside Technical Representative position provides moderately complex technical troubleshooting assistance on Residential HVAC products through a Call Center to the client dealers, contractors, and the client Field Sales personnel.


    Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
    Provides troubleshooting and installation assistance for residential & HVAC equipment
    Diagnose issues with refrigeration circuits, components, and controls to guide the caller to the appropriate resolution
    Inside Technical Representative provides technical documentation to Contractors, Engineers, and personnel
    Guide the caller to the appropriate field personnel if first-hand attention is required
    Document the call information into the call-tracking database in the event additional follow-up is required
    Identifies and helps implement process improvements


    Required Education and Experience:
    High school diploma or equivalent experience required. This position requires at least 3 to 5, but less than 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
    Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge and skills;
    Strong knowledge and experience in the installation and service of heating and air conditioning equipment (residential, commercial, and controls)
    The ability to provide assistance in a fast-paced environment
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Strong customer service skills
    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
    Ability to multitask to handle and prioritize multiple technical requests
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with SAP is preferred.
    Under direct supervision, provides basic technical troubleshooting assistance to dealers, contractors, and field sales personnel to resolve system issues.
    Provides basic troubleshooting and installation assistance of HVAC/R equipment.
    Diagnoses issues with refrigeration circuits, components, and controls to guide the caller to the appropriate resolution.
    Provides technical documentation to Contractors, Engineers, and other personnel.
    Guides caller to the appropriate field personnel if first-hand attention is required.

    Entry-level technical consulting role, but typically requires at least 5 years of experience in the installation and service of HVAC/R equipment.


    Note:
    In the office Monday through Thursday and remote on Friday
