    Role Overview:
    Coffee (as a wake-up technology) has not been changed for 1,500 years.

    Everyday Dose has developed a proprietary formulation that gives the same focus and energy as traditional coffee without the spike in energy that is only followed by a crash.

    After serving 300,000 customers (and only growing) we're looking for someone to join our team and send this message to the rest of the 149,700,000 coffee drinkers.

    To that end, we're hiring a VP of marketing to drive that mission forward.


    Key Responsibilities:


    As the Vice President of Marketing for a digital-heavy e-commerce brand, your role is crucial in driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

    Here's a strategic overview of key responsibilities and initiatives you might consider:


    Digital Strategy:
    Develop a comprehensive digital and non-digital marketing strategy that aligns with the overall business goals.

    Emphasize a multi-channel approach, including social media, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, influencer partnerships, and content marketing.


    Brand Positioning:
    Define and strengthen the brand's positioning in the digital and retail space, ensuring consistency across all channels.
    Leverage unique selling points and value propositions to differentiate the brand in a crowded e-commerce market.

    Social Media Marketing:
    Work with the social media team to optimize and expand the brand's presence on social media platforms.
    Work with the creative team to develop engaging content strategies and collaborate with influencers to reach a wider audience.
    Manage agency to utilize paid social advertising for targeted campaigns and promotions.

    Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and SEM:
    Oversee SEO strategy to improve the brand's visibility in search engine results.
    Manage SEM campaigns to drive targeted traffic and optimize for conversion.

    Email Marketing:
    Work with the retention manager to develop personalized and segmented email campaigns to nurture leads and retain customers.
    Work with retention manager to Implement automation for abandoned cart emails, welcome sequences, and other relevant triggers.

    Analytics and Data-Driven Decision-Making:
    Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns.
    Make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts and improve ROI.

    Customer Retention:
    Work with the retention manager to oversee loyalty programs, personalized offers, and post-purchase engagement strategies to retain customers.

    Lead the collection and analysis of customer feedback to continuously improve the customer experience (in collaboration with customer success managers).


    Partnerships and Collaborations:
    Work with brand manager to explore strategic partnerships with other brands, influencers, or platforms to expand reach and credibility.
    Identify co-marketing opportunities that align with the brand's values and target audience.

    Innovation and Emerging Trends:
    Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the brand remains competitive.
    Explore opportunities in emerging digital platforms and technologies to gain a first-mover advantage.

    Team Leadership and Development:
    Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
    Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.


    Remember to regularly assess and adjust your strategies based on performance metrics and market changes, ensuring your digital marketing efforts are agile and effective in driving the success of the e-commerce brand.


    Who You Are:

    Educational Background:
    BA and MBA in Marketing or Marketing Communications.
    Experience: 8+ years of brand experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, with a preference for consumables.

    At least 4 years of management experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, with a proven track record in strategy, marketing, and brand growth.


    Skills:
    Leadership, analytical and creative problem-solving, influence management, team collaboration, and conflict resolution. Deep understanding of business optimization and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

    Characteristics:

    A strong team player with superior communication skills, innovative problem-solving capabilities, and an open leadership style that encourages collaboration and risk-taking.
