    Position: Cybersecurity Engineer - Cryptographic Network Systems

    Salary: Commensurate with education/certifications and experience.

    Responsibilities

    ? Support Navy efforts to analyze communication security capabilities within their systems and with other Joint Services.

    ? Support the development of whitepapers, technical evaluation reports and plans, analysis reports and feasibility studies.

    ? Analyze device/ECU specification and requirements including cryptographic architectures such as Key Management Infrastructure to determine impacts to the fleet.

    ? Configure and set up cryptographic devices in various network systems and environments.

    ? Write software scripts and code to configure, monitor, emulate and test various network and link level secure communications protocols and key management protocols.

    ? Conduct functional and performance testing of devices to ensure suitability for operational military capabilities.

    ? Generate comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.

    ? Provide technical support to Navy users and address their queries effectively.

    ? Maintain documentation of system configurations for reference and compliance purposes

    Your Role

    As a Cryptographic Network Systems Engineer, youll be pivotal in supporting the Navy's secure communications, from analyzing cutting-edge cryptographic architectures to configuring the next generation of encryption devices. Your work will ensure the seamless and secure transmission of critical information across global networks.

    Key Responsibilities

    Craft and evaluate secure communication strategies alongside the Navy and Joint Services.

    Analyze, test, and enhance cryptographic systems, ensuring operational excellence.

    Engage with cutting-edge technologies to configure, emulate, and test secure networks.

    Deliver comprehensive reports that drive decisions and improvements in military capabilities.

    Who You Are

    A problem-solver fascinated by networking and cryptography.

    Hold a Computer Science, Math or other related STEM degree.

    Proficient in Python, with a strong foundation in networking basics and Linux/CentOS environments.

    An innovator eager to delve into key management systems and PKI concepts.

    A holder of (or eligible for) U.S. DoD security clearance, ready to make a difference in national security.
