Job Description:Information Privacy Analyst
Office of Information Technology
The Information Privacy Analyst is a member of the Information Security Group within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). They play a critical role in implementing and carrying out procedures pertaining to privacy of information at Brown University. They consult with other teams in the department to ensure that technical systems, practices, products, and services adhere to regulations, university policy, and the university's mission. In collaboration with others at Brown, this position will monitor the privacy landscape, watching for new and emerging areas of importance to Brown. They will aid in the development of policies and procedures to ensure the privacy of information entrusted to Brown and to protect the privacy of the Brown community. They are a member of the Information Security Incident Response Team (ISIRT) and participate in security incident response activities and investigations as required. They may be called upon outside regular business hours in the event of cyber incident.
