- Install various types of fences according to specifications, blueprints, and client preferences.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn components of existing fences, such as posts, panels, gates, and hardware.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment during installation or repair.
- Dig post holes, set posts in concrete, and secure fence panels using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Verify property lines and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including but not limited to saws, drills, and post hole diggers.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, provide estimates, and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
- Proven experience in fence installation and repair, with knowledge of various fencing materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and aligning materials.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as digging, lifting heavy materials, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
