    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are looking for a teammate to serve as a primary ratings content and submission analyst for console, PC, and streaming platform titles. The ideal teammate will primarily work with 1st Parties requirements and our 1st Parties partners: Nintendo, Valve, Microsoft, and Sony, so understanding 1st party submission procedures, digital platform submissions, and release needs is critical. This individual will work cross-functionally with the QA, Release Management, and Production teams.

    Join us at our new campus in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Age Ratings

    • Work with appropriate stakeholders to create and verify ratings submission schedules
    • Evaluate game through playthroughs to review and capture content
    • Review text strings for the game both visually and through internal tools
    • Prepare and submit Ratings Packet for ESRB and DJCTQ
    • Manage distribution of ratings certificates to stakeholders
    • Maintain Rating Packages and Certification archive
    • Provide ratings guidance to internal personnel as well as development teams

    Compliance

    • Monitor and document changes to 1st Parties requirements as well as Bandai Namco's internal PC requirements
    • Manage distribution of 1st Parties updates and guidelines
    • Update 1st Parties test cases
    • Manage distribution of PC Requirements to appropriate QA teams
    • Provide 1st Parties compliance guidance to internal personnel as well as development teams
    • Execute vendor audits

    General

    • Create and update team documentation for Age Ratings and 1st Parties compliance as needed
    • Build know-how and documentation on new platforms and outlets for BNEA published content
    • Participate in game evaluations as needed
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to areas of responsibility

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years in the Video Game industry
    • 1-3+ years compliance QA for 1st Parties submissions
    • 1-3+ years Ratings board submission experience
    • Demonstrated understanding of QA, submission and release processes

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • AA or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

    Salary Range: $63,321 - $81,704

    Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
