- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Provide individual and group counseling and intervention services to students.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school personnel to develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-based decision-making processes.
- Conduct behavioral observations and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Offer crisis intervention and support as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide prevention programs and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Texas.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and administrators.
- Commitment to the ethical standards and professional practices of school psychology.
