Malin is looking for a Transportation Coordinator that will be responsible for all aspects of coordinating the delivery of these solutions to our valued customers.

Coordinate all transportation activities, including scheduling, logistics brokers, Malin resources and customer contacts
Manage Malin's Transportation Database for 7 branches
Perform "physical" inventory audits
Invoicing
Communicate with warehouse personnel
Back fill for dispatch, supervisors and others on an as-needed basis
Provides coordination for all transportation activities including related administrative support so that internal and external customer needs are met timely and company business objectives are fulfilled.
Input information and manage Malin's Transportation Database (All Branches)Scan completed Bills of Lading into system for departmental viewing
Perform "physical" inventory audits against Malin's Transportation Database
Obtain DOT permits for equipment transported over height limit
Invoicing Customer / Vendors (Damage / Customer Moves / Lease Returns)
Assist Transportation Manager with scheduling freight with outside vendors
Assist Transportation Manager with routing local haul drivers
Constant communication with warehouse personnel on incoming and outgoing freight
Influence warehouse personnel to promote inventory control, warehouse organization and customer service goals
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Associates degree in Business preferred, but not required
1-3 years experience in Transportation and Logistics
Special Requirements
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Solid organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
