Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Ingleside area within the Electronic industry.
We are looking for a friendly passionate person to join a great team as an Wire Cutter. A charismatic person that loves to be detail orientated organize, punctual, and working in industrial environment.Wire Cutter Job Summary: Use wire cutting machines to cut and strip wire and cable for assemblies. Performs task inthe areas of machine set up, machine operation, and machine general maintenance. Mayalso use manual tools to cut and/or strip wire and cable. Works under direct supervision ofwire processing supervisor.1st shift - 7am-3:30pm Wire Cutter Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Identify proper specifications from cut sheets and job orders.
2. Manually and digitally set up wire cutting machines to job specifications.
3. Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of wire cutting machines for proper setup and operation.
4. Inspect products to ensure they are within specifications.
5. Minimize scrap through proper operation, maintenance, and set up of machines.
6. Communicate problems with machine operation and set up to supervisor.
7. Miscellaneous other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

1. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
2. Ability to see and differentiate colors. Corrected vision that allows reading of small alphanumeric print at a distance of 12-18 inches.
3. Ability to lift boxes and spools of wire up to 70 pounds.
4. Ability to work while standing, many tasks require standing all day.
5. Ability to maintain a brisk pace and meet generally accepted production rates.

Wire/cable and terminal debris and compressed air tools. While performing the essential duties of the job the employee will stand on a concrete floor most of the time. REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT

1. Safety glasses.
2. Steel toed shoes.
