    Description

    Allen Service provides home services, such as electrical and plumbing, as well as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services.

    We are looking to add a Residential HVAC Service Technician to our team The Residential HVAC Service Technician is an expert in maintenance and has the ability diagnose and correct HVAC system problems.

    This includes replacing parts and adjusting system controls for better performance by using special tools and diagnostic equipment.

    • Compensation: $18-30/hr based on experience plus additional opportunities for compensation

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record in heating and cooling systems including ability to draw simple diagrams, read blueprints and other diagrams.
    • 2+ years of service experience (residential and light commercial) HVAC system troubleshooting/repair
    • Type 2 / EPA Universal Certified, NATE Certification, Basic Tools, Refrigerant Gauges, Multi Meters
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • High integrity with the strong desire to be better tomorrow than you are today.
    • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
    • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check

    Responsibilities:

    • Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations.
    • Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairing of residential and light commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems
    • Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment
    • Provides startups and troubleshooting for residential and light commercial HVAC systems
    • Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.
    • Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
    • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck,
    • Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.
    • Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
