Working closely with the US Tax Manager, the Senior Tax Analyst – America's will assist on numerous US tax compliance matters. In this role you will be reviewing Federal and state income tax returns, reconciling tax accounts, overseeing the sales and use tax compliance and inclusion on various projects. This position is located in Williamsport, PA (Greater Philadelphia area), and is remote, also considering candidates in, Alpharetta, GA and Morristown, NJ.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the sales & use tax process, including managing relationship with outside vendors, reviewing sales/use tax returns, and maintaining exemption certificates, reconciling general ledger accounting, assisting order management personnel and identifying process efficiencies
• Prepares tax depreciation calculations for US groups within tax depreciation software and maintains current book to tax reconciliation
• Compile and review book-to-taxable income adjustments
• Compiles and reviews data collection for providing to third party for Federal and state income tax return preparation
• Maintains tax calendar and assists in ensuring timely filing
• Manage the correspondence received from state tax authorities and ensure timely responses and resolution
• Analyze accrued and deferred taxes and assists with any quarterly or annual provision processes as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or taxation or relevant discipline, MBA preferred
• 2-3 years working in public accounting or an internal corporate tax dept. preparing corporate tax filings
• Technology:
• SAP (or other financial reporting software) and Advanced Excel – required
• Vertex, OneSource Tax Compliance or Corptax, Sage Depreciation – one or many preferred but not required
• Roll up your sleeves type of position
