    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Executive Account Manager to manage and grow our corporate accounts within a designated book of business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of success in the corporate vertical, with the ability to create and execute account-specific strategies, manage complex projects, and drive revenue growth. In addition to managing key accounts, this role includes overseeing furniture projects, ensuring that client needs are met from inception through execution. The Executive Territory Account Manager will be expected to mentor junior team members, lead by example, and play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy and success within the corporate vertical.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within corporate accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies, including tailored account-specific plans to expand market share and identify growth opportunities. Focus on deepening relationships within multiple departments or business units to achieve revenue targets and drive client retention.
    • Sales Skill Set: Assess the best level of service for each corporate client based on their needs and budget. This role supports clients at all service levels offered, including providing design and installation services when needed. You will be qualified to have conversations with clients about design and installation and fully understand their requirements to support them from discovery, to design, and post-installation. If elevated services are required, you will collaborate with internal teams such as design, operations, and our Client Success Managers (CSMs) to ensure optimal service delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Solution Selling: Leverage deep industry knowledge and client insight to offer customized solutions that align with the unique needs of each corporate client, demonstrating the value of our products and services.
    • Account Reviews: Conduct regular account reviews with corporate clients to assess satisfaction, address concerns, identify new needs, and ensure that solutions evolve with the client's business objectives.
    • Client Retention: Proactively engage with clients to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and foster long-term partnerships. Provide continuous support to enhance relationships and ensure loyalty.
    • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions and exceed client expectations.
    • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to position our offerings effectively within the corporate vertical.
    • Negotiation and Closing: Support on complex contract negotiations with corporate clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and the company.
    • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior account managers, offering mentorship and sharing best practices to help develop the next generation.
    • Leadership: Play a key role in shaping sales strategies and processes within the corporate vertical, driving continuous improvement and innovation with the team.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record of success in the corporate sector, including managing large, complex accounts and projects.
    • Strong knowledge of the corporate vertical, including industry trends, decision-making processes, and competitive landscape.
    • Extensive experience managing and executing furniture projects for corporate clients, including design, logistics, and installation.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead complex sales cycles, build tailored solutions, and work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
    • Self-motivated with a strong ability to exceed sales targets while managing multiple priorities and accounts.
    • Experience in managing large-scale corporate projects and working with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Ability to think independently, strategically and tailor solutions to client needs.
