    Description

    We are seeking a FSR/Trainer with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Support Marine Forces Reserve as required to teach and troubleshoot GCSS-MC/LCM supply and maintenance issues in an effort to build expertise within Operational Forces (OPFORS) Logistics Readiness Evaluation (LRE)/SMATs to include set-up and configuration support, supply and maintenance analysis reporting, and training support.

    Be dispatched to MFR Sites (across the U.S.) to provide FSR/Trainer support for functional areas included in USMC Supply, Maintenance, Maintenance Management, and User Management for Logistics Systems.

    Conduct analysis across MFR areas of supply and maintenance responsibilities as they relate to unit readiness.

    Conduct Knowledge Transfer (capture, refinement, organization, and distribution of GCSS-MC/LCM actions, Supply and Maintenance actions, lessons learned, and best practices) and coordinate with User Unit Account Managers and using units.

    Provide working level liaison support to MFR, GCSS- MC/LCM Help Desk, and USMC Maintenance and Supply leaders.

    Participate in Tier 0 Resolver Group Meetings with the PMO and LSCO/LFSRGs to provide recommendations, feedback, and analysis reporting.

    Conduct analysis of local unit material readiness with GCSS-MC/LCM business processes and reports to support MFR field support training, and assist efforts and teams.

    Provide desk-side configuration support of the GCSS-MC/LCM system, as required.

    Support troubleshooting required to work around GCSS-MC/LCM unit-related known issues and identify and report new issues to the PMO.

    Develop, refine, and perform GCSS-MC/LCM processes and functions as they relate to

    unit composition/decomposition or re-designation for deployments or unit realignments.

    Provide technical assistance to Unit User Account Managers in the execution of their duties and provide an understanding of unit configurations as they relate to personnel and equipment.

    Assist in curriculum development and training materials in support of the Material Readiness Training Cell or as stand-alone classes/training.

    Develop training materials for logistics capabilities to include curriculum, presentations, podium-led classes, virtual training, manuals, and technical references.

    Provide over-the-shoulder, individualized, small unit and formal classroom instruction on all areas of GCSS-MC/LCM and as the system relates to USMC supply and maintenance functions.

    Provide basic troubleshooting of GCSS-MC/LCM configuration for MEF, MARSOC, LOGCOM and MFR units.

    Develop specialized reports and tools within the system and externally as needed to address unit and operational tasks or reporting requirements.

    Provide GCSS-MC/LCM Tier 0 Help Desk support for resolution of trouble tickets aligned to the system and/or user capabilities/abilities to operate within the system.

    Identify and track issues in the PMO-provided ticketing system to document incidents.

    Provide reports of site visits and/or lessons learned.

    Assist in the development of GCSS-MC/LCM process flows and implementation of proper GCSS-MC/LCM processes and procedure.

    Conduct GCSS-MC/LCM supply and maintenance readiness analysis and reporting, knowledge transfer and training.

    Provide technical input and validation of all GCSS-MC maintenance modules, workflows,

    data capture forms, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) reporting, data exchange and processes, ensuring they meet user needs and are compliant with Marine Corps requirements, policies, and procedures in all ground maintenance management processes, to include but not limited to, Modifications and Instructions, Calibrations, Preventive Maintenance, Publications, Readiness Information, and Maintenance Tracking, in both deployed and garrison environments.

    Provide technical input and validation of all GCSS-MC supply management modules, workflows, data capture forms, OBIEE reporting, data exchange and processes, ensuring they meet user needs and are compliant with Marine Corps and DoD policies regarding the developmental and sustainment operations of the Marine Corps retail and consumer level supply chain.

    Provide technical input and validation of all GCSS-MC financial modules, workflows, data capture forms, OBIEE reporting, data exchange and processes, ensuring they meet user needs and are within audit compliance standards.

    Assist in all other areas as needed by the supervisor, project and program manager.

    Required Qualifications:

    Security Clearance:

    US Citizenship required.

    Ability to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Personnel Security Investigation (PSI.) Minimum acceptable investigation is a T-1 or a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI).

    Ability to obtain a Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret.

    Education and Experience:

    • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related scientific or technical discipline.
    • Substitution: Seven (7) years of Marine Corps experience, with supply or maintenance background within the Marine Corps Logistics Community.
    • of five (5) years' work experience with GCSS-MC.
    • of three (3) years of instructor and/or analyst experience supporting Marine Corps or DoD Community of Interest efforts.
    • expertise with Marine Corps Policies, Orders and Directives pertaining to Supply, Maintenance, Financial and Maintenance Management functions.
    • with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Suites (i.e. Teams, Power BI, Power App) Adobe, SharePoint and web editing.
    • experience with operational views, systems views, and other architecture products for the Logistics Enterprise Architecture based on the Supply Chain Operational Reference (SCOR) Model.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
    • Experience with Data Analysis tools for Business Intelligence (OBIEE, Power BI, Qlik, etc...)
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
