    Senior Accountant (Salary: $75-95K)

    LHH Recruitment Onsite in Austin, TX

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking a Senior Accountant for a prominent client in the healthcare industry. This position will be onsite in downtown Austin for now and then transition to hybrid later this year. This role is pivotal in managing day-to-day accounting operations and conducting monthly financial reconciliations, ensuring the highest standards in financial reporting and control.

    The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Big 4/public accounting background with strong proficiency in NetSuite ERP. A CPA certification is preferred, but not mandatory.     Responsibilities:

    • Oversee financial statement preparation and analysis in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
    • Collaborate with various department heads to align financial and operational goals, while also providing insights into budget performance and variance analysis.
    • Responsible for maintaining the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, along with reconciling and analyzing balance sheet accounts for accuracy.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls for financial asset safeguarding and provide strategic financial analysis to aid in decision-making and planning.
    • Engage in continuous process improvement, identifying cost efficiencies, and remain updated with changes in accounting standards and industry trends.

    Client Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior accounting role, preferably with Big 4 or large/regional public accounting experience.
    • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP System and strong knowledge of GAAP, statutory accounting principles, and evolving regulatory requirements.
    • Demonstrated skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
