    We are looking for experienced Construction Managers to assist in large-scale construction projects in Cecil County, MD for the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT).

    Requirements:

    • 8+ Years of relevant transportation inspection experience in heavy highway, bridge, and roadway construction with all necessary certifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent certificate
    • Demonstrated experience in construction inspection of various projects including interstate, roadway, bridge, storm drainage, TMDL, and building facility contracts following MDOT SHA construction standards
    • Proficiency in preparing construction inspection documentation such as Inspector Daily Reports, Force Account Records, and detailed progress reports
    • Ability to obtain required certifications including MARTCP, SHA Temporary Traffic Control Manager's Training Course Card, MDE RPC Card, and SHA E&S Yellow Card
    • Completion of OSHA 10-hour training (covered by WRA)
    • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to construction sites
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret plans and specifications
    • Good writing and drawing skills for report completion
    • Basic computer skills with experience in Word & Excel
    • Availability for night shifts, overtime, and occasional overnight travel
