The UM Dining invites applications for a Dining Center Supervisor to oversee Food Zoo operations.

Required Skills

• Professional supervisory experience in a foodservice environment.
• Experience working with college students as employees and guests.
• Experience in the front-of-the-house working with guests and employees in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience with effectively training employees new to the workforce.
• Experience with planning, implementing, and recapping special events.
• ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment.
• Experience with standard food service reports including profit and loss, labor analysis, and annual operating budgets.
• Experience in addressing personnel issues and dealing effectively with conflict.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Minimum Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED and three (3) years related experience. One (1) of those years must be in a high volume, restaurant or catering operation
• Leadership and supervisory experience and training

$18.875/hr
