    As a

    Product Marketing Manager

    you will support the business

    objectives

    of

    Ventrac

    by effectively

    guiding

    assig

    ned

    products through their entire lifecycle

    .

    This person is involved in the entire process from idea generation through to product maturity and final sales support.

    Ventrac products are used

    worldwide by professional groundskeepers, contractors, and property owners in a wide range of markets

    .

    This role will focus on

    tractor and attachment product lines including

    ,

    all

    4520 machine variants.
    What Will You Do?

    Primary
    Develop, present, and execute multi-generational product plan

    s

    for assigned products

    Develop strategies for the evolution of current product and creation of

    additional

    products

    Create and present

    business cases for new product

    needs

    Track and report annual status of products within the portfolio and how they contribute to meeting defined sales/profit targets

    Interface with Ventrac dealers and customers to collect product feedback and information about customer needs

    Work together with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to coordinate

    the development process, providing for input from each area to be considered during the process

    industry trade shows, customer experience events, and other key activities

    Support marketing media capture by organizing and transporting equipment

    Operate equipment for testing/feedback purposes during the development process

    What Do You Need?

    To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following


    requirements:
    In-depth

    understanding of compact

    landscap

    e

    ,

    construction,

    and agricultural equipment

    Ability to develop and implement comprehensive, long-range product business plans including research, writing specifications, budgeting, costing, and

    future

    sales/support actions

    Ability to operate Ventrac equipment and provide feedback on performance, durability, ergonomics, etc.

    Strong leadership competency in team environments and ability to manage and/or work with multiple project teams

    simultaneously

    Excellent verbal/written communication skills

    Availability to work on-site in Orrville, Ohio (this is not a hybrid or remote-compatible role)

    Current vehicle operator's license and be willing to travel up to 15% of the time (air & highway) with potential for limited international travel

    Appropriate PC skills including Microsoft apps and ability to learn other business-supporting software


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Business-to-business

    sales experience

    Prior participation in a formal product development process

    Experience

    operating

    compact equipment in a landscape, construction, or agricultural setting

    Ability to use common tools and follow service procedures for the repair and

    maintenance

    of equipment

    Ability to tow equipment using

    a

    standard pickup truck and trailer/s


    Education and Years of Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in marketing

    , business,

    engineering

    or related discipline

    3-5 years (PMM I) or 5

    years (PMM II) of direct experience in

    sales

    /marketing

    or

    new product development

    roles

    within a related product category
