Description
Job Summary:
Performs a wide variety of tasks to program, set up and operate a CNC Lathe, Mill or Multi Axis Machine.
Measure and inspect all parts produced.Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
Set up machinery for production runsIdentify and select proper machine toolingEnsure that the production parts meet specifications and verify their quality.
Measure and inspect production parts.Follows lockout tag out procedures.
Proceeds with minimal supervision.
Work Overtime and or weekends as necessary to meet customer demand.
Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
Education, Training, Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to read and understand detailed instruction drawings and specifications on wellhead equipment and valves.
Familiar with Mazak machines and Mazatrol CNC controlsAbility to use micrometers and calipersKnowledge of good document control and process flow.
Intermediate computer, language, and mathematical skills and advanced reasoning ability.Knowledge of Quality SystemSupervisory Responsibilities:
