Our client, who prides themselves on delivering top-tier Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering solutions since 1968, are seeking a proficient Mechanical Engineer to join their medium-sized yet impactful MEP Engineering team.

The role is integral to enhancing their mechanical division's capacity to meet the increasing demands of their existing and new client base.

Candidates should have a proven track record in the MEP engineering & design domain, particularly in industries like industrial, manufacturing, commercial office, mixed-use developments, and warehouse settings.

• In-depth knowledge of ICC Codes and pertinent industry norms.
• Performing field surveys and information acquisition.
• Calculation of heat gain/loss and building loads.
• Selecting, designing, and specifying mechanical equipment.
• Designing distribution systems.
• Writing and editing technical specifications and reports.
• Managing RFI submissions and reviewing shop drawings.
• Conducting field inspections and managing punch lists during the construction phase.
• Communication with clients and AHJs.
• Developing order-of-magnitude cost projections.
• Maintaining high-level organizational capabilities.
• Coordinating effectively across multiple disciplines.
• Troubleshooting HVAC systems.

• Extensive knowledge of ICC Codes and industry standards.
• Experience in MEP engineering and design in areas such as industrial manufacturing, commercial office, mixed-use buildings, warehouse, food processing, hospitality, restaurant, and retail.
• Experience in mission-critical and pharmaceutical markets is a plus.
• Required proficiency in CAD; Revit skills are a significant advantage.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and coordinate across disciplines.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to quickly address challenges.
