    Clerk III, Data Entry


    Under general supervision, inputs/enters a variety of data into computerized records systems; monitors related errors and performs data clean-up; and provides user support and assistance with data checking, correction, and verification.


    Essential Functions:
    The following duties are representative of this position.

    • Inputs maintenance work orders into the fleet management database
    • Updates database system(s) when requested to correct errors or extrapolate data; Must be capable of identifying trends in data accuracy and integrity
    • Assists with the input, maintenance and records for monthly inspections and other inspection items
    • Processes requests for data and information; reviews parts usage data for errors
    • Provides assistance to managers, mechanics, and other personnel in regards to maintenance, parts usage, and service data
    • Compiles data on all fleet maintenance, parts, service equipment, and vendor services
    • Maintains current fleet inventory and coordinates the sale of fleet vehicles and equipment
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • Associate degree or equivalent completed college course work relative to general office procedures, bookkeeping and computer entry from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university preferred.
    • Minimum three years of experience in general office procedures, bookkeeping and computer entry required or an equivalent combination of courses and responsible office/clerical experience required.
