Street Legal Industries Inc is seeking Construction Manager for project in Menlo Park CA This position will support Construction Management Group A successful CM develops excellent customer relations with internal external stakeholders business relations with subcontractors Leadership ownership diligence persistence integrity are required to be successful in this role Specific Responsibilities Include construction quality management logistics management field inspections site visits status coordination meetings Work Planning Control WPC daily morning tailgate meetings read construction documents directly supporting constructability reviews quality technical direction Coordinate stakeholders plan coordinate mitigate constructability concerns oversee reviews of job safety analyses identify evaluate potential hazards implement controls as scope of work changes Provide regular onsite coverage monitor construction activities document report subcontractor performance deficiencies take action remedy issues concerns along with project manager procurement Assist projects monthly financial progress accruals earned value performance reporting for construction activities Support internal external review meetings as construction subject matter expert Maintain up to date files all construction documents official project folder Requirements Bachelor s degree Construction Management Architecture Civil Mechanical Electrical Engineering related field minimum ten years experience in superintendence or management equivalent combination education relevant experience Extensive experience planning directing coordinating activity on sites Demonstrated leadership ability influence motivate Excellent planning organizational skills Ability read comprehend construction documents including plans specifications contracts regulatory requirements shop drawings Request Information RFI Critical Path Method CPM schedules etc Expert working knowledge testing special inspection permitting Request Information RFI submittals change order scheduling policies procedures associated with contracts Knowledge building code requirements Excellent written verbal communication skills Strong presentation skills Competency Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint MS Project Schedule Outlook SharePoint Valid California non commercial Class driver s license CMAA certified construction manager preferred obtain within one year
